Pool Opening

Thank goodness summer is here and we got the swimming pool open for us all to enjoy.
We have a 40 foot lap pool and the cats love it, so far this year Buddy and Kunta are doing
their laps and practicing to enter the Kitty Olympics. They are up to 50 laps to build their
strength and stamina and I clock them with a stop watch and keep the daily records to
monitor their progress.
Actually, I am very impressed and I think that they are on the right track and have an
excellent shot to get into the Olympics.
They are now working on their “SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING” routine which totally blows
me away. They now are floating on their backs with their paws toughing, doing leg lifts in
unison, then diving under water and doing a total front paw handstand with their tails out of
the water and waving at the audience (me).
I never, never thought that my babies were so talented in the water. I will have to take a
video of them because they both are total perfection working together.
I will have a lot of sewing to do on all the costumes for them and sewing on all the sequins
on their bathing suits. I also thought that I should sew them sequin swimming caps to
match. That would make the outfits more professional for the Olympics.
I will keep everyone informed on their progress.
I just have to show you the picture of Buddy in his suit and swimming cap doing his laps
and also one of him sunbathing with one of his best friends. Enjoy.
